Encourage Customers In-store
Here are some ways to drive customers into your store and reward them for their loyalty.
Masterclasses
How about running a masterclass? Perhaps a virtual tasting with a winemaker or showcasing a specific grape, appellation, wine style or the best wines from your Bordeaux range. It could be a 30 minute speed tasting, or a food-wine pairing to excite and educate your customers or a structured presentation with a guest speaker with consumers paying to attend, giving you additional revenue.
Involve Bordeaux Producers
Hosting a tasting or virtual masterclass? Why not reach out to the wine producer/winemaker and get their involvement, to provide additional value and perspective to the session? The Bordeaux Wine Council have informed their producers about Bordeaux Wine Month so they’ll be eager to support you in your efforts.
Discounts
Who doesn’t love a discount? Most independent merchants who were involved in the campaign last year offered discounts to encourage multi-buys or promote a specific range, whether this was in-store only, online or after tastings. As you know it’s one of the best ways to get customers in store and purchasing.
Promote your involvement
